We are a company that has been in operation since 1979 and specialize in Sea and Air cargo clearing and forwarding. Our company has grown due to the reliable and trustworthy services provided to our existing clientele over the years. By offering competitive rates and an efficient service, we have been able to build mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our clients. Starting as a proprietorship in 1979 the business was incorporated as a private limited liability company in 2002 to provide stability and strength to the business, and to enrich confidence to our clients.
The Chairman / Managing Director Shantha Ranawana has been involved in cargo clearing and forwarding since 1979 and is supported by a highly experienced staff with expert knowledge of wharf operations. Our operations staff have vast experiences in clearing cargo through either Customs or BOI procedures, and are capable of clearing or forwarding any type of cargo including project cargo and cargo requiring special handling procedures. We are able to clear almost all cargo within 24 hours of arrival. You can be rest assured, that your goods will be promptly cleared and safely delivered, in reliable and road worthy trucks.

Inter Freight Forwarding Service is proud to offer selected clients; our dedicated International Trade Documentation Services (ITDS). Through this service, we undertake to handle all matters relating to your international trade activity, such as coordinating with your bank to establish Letter of Credit, delivering /collecting documents from your bank(s), Chamber of Commerce, obtaining Import /Export Licenses, registering our clients etc.
